I. Connection types between insulating layer and structural layer as well as insulating layer and protective layer
At present, connection types of insulating layer, protective layer and structural layer have the following types: connecting rod bracket, inclined rod bracket, long bolt and adhesive. The above-mentioned four connection types have respective characteristics, but the previous 3 types have more troublesome construction and the fourth scheme is involved in bond strength, durability and other problems as well through comprehensive comparison, so the following 4 simpler schemes are recommended: fastener scheme, expansion bolt scheme, embedded bar or plastic bar scheme, sticking and nailing association scheme. Such several schemes not only have simple construction, but also have better durability.
II. Prevent from and eliminate the occurrence of cracks on the protective layer and facing layer and research measures for reducing stress concentration and shrinkage stress of protective layer.
It mainly has the following reasons to occur cracks on the protective layer and facing layer:
① Low bond strength or the occurrence of hollowing on the protective layer and insulating layer;
② The cracks are caused by larger shrinkage strain on the protective layer and facing layer;
③ The cracks on the protective layer and facing layer are caused by stress concentration at the door and window openings.
It shall adopt the following anti-cracking measures by aiming at the above-mentioned several main reasons to occur cracks:
① Adopt steel wire mesh or enhancement layer of sandwich rock wool board with steel wire mesh. On one hand, steel wire mesh can strengthen the connection of structural layer with insulating layer and protective layer, on the other hand, it can disperse shrinkage stress and stress concentration of protective layer and facing layer so as to reach the purpose to reduce and prevent from cracks. In addition, the measure of partial setting of strengthened mesh shall be taken to the position where the wall is easy to occur cracks.
② Adopt micro-expansion anti-cracking mortar or polymer mortar with higher bond strength, small shrinkage strain and certain elasticity. Because the rock wool board has softer material, the thickness of anti-cracking mortar shall be 25mm~30mm.
③ Conduct blocking, seam leaving and achieve caulking waterproofing work to the protective layer so as to reduce shrinkage and temperature stress.
III. Solve well the weather resistance problems of protective layer and facing layer.
Two methods can be taken to solve well the weather resistance of protective layer and facing layer:
① Decorate facing brick outside of the protective layer, but this method increases self weight and cost of wall, moreover, it is feasible to the building with higher decorating requirements.
② Spray external wall coating with high elasticity and good weather resistance outside of the protective layer, because such coating not only has better elastoplasticity and waterproofing function, but also has better anti-cracking and weather resistance, it plays a protective effect to the protective layer and insulating layer.
